But if you’re looking for a single device, the Motiv XL delivers some of the best stereo sound we’ve ever heard from a single speaker. A configuration like this could easily result in something overly bombastic in the hands of a less skilled manufacturer, but Teufel has managed to achieve a highly successful balance: powerful, warm, and surprisingly controlled when it needs to be.

In short, the Teufel MOTIV XL is the logical choice for enthusiasts who have left the phase of portable Bluetooth speakers behind and want to move on to something more serious, but who do not want (or cannot) fill their living room with cables, external amplifiers and speaker towers. It is hi-fi in a simplified form for the modern world, designed with the German precision you would expect from Berlin. A safe investment for those who care above all about music.
