Powerful, impactful, and perfectly balanced sound
The German company has focused its efforts on what really matters: delivering powerful, impactful, and high-quality sound capable of completely transforming the audiovisual experience of any television.
"...The CINEBAR 22 is a great way to significantly improve sound quality without having to set up a traditional home cinema system."
"The Teufel CINEBAR 22 delivers exactly the experience you would expect from a soundbar with a subwoofer in this class. The sound is clearly superior to that of the TV, dialogue is reproduced with clarity, the soundstage is wider, and the bass has a level of power that most compact soundbars without a separate subwoofer simply can't match."
Rating: 9/10
My conclusion is that a soundbar is a simple and effective solution for improving sound at home, without hassle or complex installations, and that it offers a very complete experience.
Silver Award
In practice, the Cinebar 22 delivers a wide and convincing sound image. Movies sound spacious, with clear left-right positioning and noticeable directionality.
...an absolute powerhouse of an audio system.
The Cinebar 22 is a seriously impressive audio system. Full-bodied sound, a warm character and a surprisingly spacious soundstage. While the Cinebar 11 is already a nice step up from your TV speakers, the 22 brings much more of a home cinema experience into your home. More than enough for music, and a real treat when watching films. You notice the difference most with Dolby Atmos content and when opting for the set with Effekt speakers. That's also when the Dynamore function really comes into its own.
Clear stereo with a wide sound and good instrument separation.
In action scenes, the subwoofer really comes into its own when you switch on full playback mode. It delivers a solid sound without getting out of hand: explosions and low frequencies are clearly audible, but they don’t sound muddy and don’t become overly boomy.
Great sound
“(...) as with any soundbar, the real sound only starts when a subwoofer is connected. And well, this T6 subwoofer from Teufel can do just that. It is one of the few subwoofers that can be placed either upright or lying down (e.g. under the sofa). It complements the bar perfectly (....)”
"Full television sound with spatial effects."
All well and good, but ultimately it's all about sound quality. In short, it's excellent. It's admirable how rich a sound this soundbar/subwoofer combination can produce.
Gold Medal
The T6 stands out for its ease of use. Once configured, you can practically forget about it. It does not generate noise, does not vibrate excessively, and has low energy consumption. In addition, its compact size allows it to be placed in areas where other subwoofers would not fit.
Score: 88/100
"The Teufel Cinebar 22 with subwoofer is a surprisingly powerful all-rounder: in stereo music mode with a wide sound stage and clean separation of instruments, in home cinema with dynamic sound and punchy bass."
“The Teufel CINEBAR 22 is one of those sets that doesn't need to prove anything on paper, because it shows its value every evening in front of the TV.”
“The sound of the Teufel CINEBAR 22 does not try to impress for show, but consistently builds an atmosphere in which films, music, and games begin to live their own rhythm.”
Hear your TV as if you were at the cinema
A compact design that always finds the perfect way to fit into our living room thanks to its small size. ... with deep and highly precise bass.
